Primary Healthcare Physicians’ Knowledge, Practice, and Attitude Towards Influenza Vaccination of Pregnant Women in Bahrain

Background: Pregnancy is associated with immunological and physiological changes in many organ systems. Influenza pregnancy has been higher rates of morbidity mortality. The Centers for Disease Control Prevention (CDC) the World Health Organization (WHO) advocate antenatal influenza vaccination. Objective: This study aims to assess Primary Healthcare Physicians’ (PHPs) knowledge, practice, attitude regarding vaccination pregnant women Bahrain. Also, identify perceived facilitators barriers among PHPs. Methodology: A cross-sectional was conducted all (PHCs) Bahrain belonging Ministry (MOH), which included 25 PHCs 3 health clinics spread across five regions. One hundred nighty -two physicians responded a survey about their awareness, immunization pregnancy. Conclusion: In general, agree that necessary safe women, not only those having high-risk pregnancies. Furthermore, good counseling can help overcome fears or barriers.
